Whew...yeah...well I disappeared for awhile...MySpace and Facebook got the better of me and I all but forgot this place...not that anyone is here anymore anyway...But I felt the need to update for my own reasons...so now I shall try to juggle MySpace, Facebook, Livejournal and this off and on...we shall see what happens...

Well, have not posted since I got back from our AMAZING trip to Minnesota to see Blue. Guess I'll tell the highlights.

We got there at noon without a hitch and enjoyed the rain and breeze we were lucky enough to get.

We met some great people and got to see the bus pull in! The bassist Matt came and talked to us for a while. He was impressed with our shirts and he picked up Sarah's compact she dropped and handed it back to her...*sigh* such a sweetie. Doors open, we get front row, and the show is AWESOME! We were between Justin and Ryan, so we got some killer shots of them.

Then Justin paid us some attention during "You Make Me Smile" direct eye contact baby!

Matt acknowledged us from stage *squee* and we each heard our favorite song! Then we got to meet Justin,

after the show...we got pics and things signed...Sarah stood by Justin for a good while, waiting patiently for the pushy fans to have their pound of flesh..lol But apparently my nose was the only one working when we took our pic with him *sigh* the scent of leather has a whole new meaning lol Then as if the night could not get any better...Ryan walks by and I ask if he would sign my viola (yes I took it with me just for that reason) lol he stopped and was like "your viola? You have it with you?" in a suprised manor lol It is raining at the time and he looks about and goes "Well we can't have it out in the rain" in a concerned way lol "Come on follow me" I obey...then follow him...TO THE BUS!!! lol so Sarah tails me and we get on the bus. He take out the viola, tunes it, does a fun scale, then shuffles us farther back in the bus when he has to answer the door...lol so I trip over Justin's crutches and Sarah gets poked in the butt with the bow by Ryan lol But we were there, so it was all good! We could hear Justin, Jeremy and Matt having a good time in the back. Then Ryan returns, signs my viola and shirt, the does the same with Sarah's and her picture. Then we get a pic with him when we get out of the bus. So it was a pretty damn cool night! Had a great time and it was a wonderful experience, that would not have been as memorable had Ryan not had us on the bus...so *kisses* Thank you Ryan.

Other than that great time...I have been missing my friends off at college terribley! *cries* I'm impatiently waiting for them to start visiting more often lol And Sarah, Matt and I have Blue concerts to attend and Stars games to go to...we will have things to do when they are in town lol So there ya go, my life up till now. Ok, so, a lot has happend since the last post...been Amandaless for a week *sniff* But she called this morning and said they were on their way home! YAY! Got my lisence yesterday! YAY! Sarah talked to Justin of Blue! SARAH KICKS ASS! And me, Sarah and Jessica are planning on taking a trip to Minnesota to see Blue October the first of August! HELL FREAKIN YES!!! So it has been quite eventful! I am still trying to convince the parents to let me go...dad actually implied that I can yesterday...but of course he did it in a guilt trip way and made me feel bad..and mom is tempermental on the subject...she asks about it one day, then "Your not going" the next *sigh* Im still working on it. I totally understand their concern about driving, because I have thought of all of it already...but as Sarah's dad has said, it will be a good learning experience and if shit happens, then it happens, you can't pervent it and we will learn how to deal with it. So I'm still plugging that notion...but I've got plenty others. Sarah said she bought the tix last night...which are only $15!!! So we've got tickets! And Sarah's aunt in Minnestoa said we are more than welcome to stay with her when we get there and that she is looking forward to having us! So Im really looking forward to it and praying like hell that I can go. It will be an all day drive...16 hours, but with some stops it will probably end up being around 18,20 *shrugs* But in talking to the parents tonight, flying is my only option...dad is behind it anyway, so Im looking at flights right now. We will see if that will change.
Sarah and Jess are looking to go ahead and drive *power to them wooo!* plan to leave on a Saturday, drive there, then Sunday pick me up from the airport perferrabley with a caravan and Blue October's bus along with the guys of course! lol Give ourselves Monday to rest and find the venue, then Tuesday go to the concert like 3 hours early to ensure front row spots, then rock out! And we have made up our minds that we are going to meet all the guys...well for me it's meet...Sarah and Jess already have...but, get pics, our shirts signed, that good stuff. Then we plan on coming back Wednesday. All in all, I think we have a pretty decent layout of our plans. We shall see. Keeping my fingers crossed here.
So to pick up on Sarah talking to Justin..lol it was a pretty cool thing. We had been talking on AIM all afternoon and she made the discovery that Blue was going to be on Loveline in California. She found a live stream for it and passed it on. And she is clever enough to figure that they are on 12 midnight here. So we stay until they come on...and let me tell you some things people asked about on there will make you blush and cry with laughter! Pretty funny shit, and the band answered some of it, which was GREATNESS! One of the calls I have to say was just...omg....this girl, said she had been making out with a "guy" at a party...then her hand found it's way into "his" pants...in which she felt nothing that implied he was a "he"...ROTFLMFAO! And what does the DJ do? "Uh...Justin?"....what does Justin do? *pause*....."huh"...LOL It was GREAT! So it was a pretty entertaining 3 hours. So anyway, some so called Blue October "fans" called in with questions for them...like "How do you write your songs?" and "How do you not cheat with your girl while your on the road?"....just STUPID questions that they would know the answers to if they just read Blues biography...or just Justin's...geez...Earlier when we had been talking she said that she heard from Bril's manager that Justin was in some intense pain with this leg and the shows killed him (like that stops him *woo*) and that the other night they had to carry him offstage in Oklahoma. So we had been wondering about how he was feeling and after we had had enough of the idiodic questions she said "I should call"...I laughed and told her she should...not thinking she would, but would not have been surprised if she did...two minutes later..."I'm calling"...lol So she calls and it was not 5 minutes she types "I'm getting on!!" OMG! So after they finish with a couple of calls the main guy goes "Ok let's talk to Sarah, your 18, what's up Sarah?" and she goes "Hey, not much, just listening to Blue October actually" and the band goes "Aw, alright!"...with a "Aw awesome" added by Justin, enthusiastically. So she asks Justin how he is feeling with his leg, in which he graciously replied it was healing nicely, feeling better and that it was more of an annoyance now and thanked her for asking. Then the DJ guy made him tell how he hurt it and all that good stuff, then asked Sarah if she had anything else to ask them. She told Justin that he still rocks on the stool...in which she got an "Aw! Thank you!" VERY enthusiastically I might add *sighs* and she went on to thank them, him, for still doing the shows even though he's hurt because every time she goes to one her world gets better, and she speaks for me too. Again, he offered another very sincere "Awww" and said "You know, while we are doing the Kimmel show tomorrow I'll feel so much better about myself sitting on the stool because you said that." *squeeeeeeeeee!* That did it for me....I felt like I was the one calling! Then the DJ went on to talk about the Kimmel show and Sarah was finished..but the delay was enough she got to hear herself for the last part of it...then she was on the keyboard "OMG" every other line..lol It was AWESOME! She serisously started freaking out AFTER she called...she was fine before and during..but after...it hit her lol Check our her Xanga too, it's got the emotions down like two hours after this hehe And being the awesome person I am, I managed to find the WHOLE interview the next day *nods with proudness* So we each have it to enjoy over and over again...and the classic "Booger Bean" one...which I love...lol *sigh* I swear, everytime I think I cannot fall for these guys anymore, something like this hits me. It was so cool and Justin sounded very appreciative and touched *eeee* Then they went on to play a KICK ASS live performance of "Into The Ocean" which made both of us cry...Sarah it was more of a rush of "OMG I just did that" and other previous events leading to the call...and of course his VOICE was just BEAUTIFUL. He nailed it completely and we just could not help ourselves...it just triggered something. So that was an awesome night that led to the Jimmy Kimmel performance (which all of you should check out on MySpace Videos)
Justin crutched out there, but stood at the mic for the whole song, and THREW his crutches down at the first chours of "Hate Me" which made us go EEEEE! It looked like he was actually putting some weight on his leg, so that's promising, both for him and us if he gets back on both for our show and he can do all his hopping and twitching around...lol...Then they did "What If We Could" , but he was on the stool this time...in which I told Sarah "He's thinking about you" lolThen he pulled out the tambourine which he did at EdgeFest and flowed...and Ryan had an AWESOME violin rif at the end. 









That was one of their best performances EVER...so if your a fan or even just like them ok...go check out the performance, I guarantee you'll be hooked. I made some awesome ass screencaps from it (see above) and managed to snag just the audio to "What If We Could".
So that's been my life since EdgeFest, and it has been fun! So keep all of your fingers crossed for my "Let me go to Minnesota" luck and keep the Blue love strong! Woooo!!! I'm out
